In July of 2001, multi-instrumentalist, Kurt Tischer and drummer/percussionist, David Clark met as unsuspecting members of an otherwise low-key demo recording project that would become the catalyst for what is now Temple 8.
By October 2001, the first Temple 8 recordings were streaming from music web sites all over the Internet and garnering attention from fans in America and even moreso in Europe and Asia.
Temple 8's music comes to life with rhythm guitar work reminiscent of Rush's Alex Lifeson, David Gilmour of Pink Floyd, U2's The Edge, and John Petrucci of Dream Theater. Well orchestrated and etheral keyboard arrangements add an air of "other wordliness", while punchy, bouncy, bass guitar work and solid, but complex drum stylings hold the bottom while adding point and counterpoint.
Lyrically, Temple 8 hits a home run, using poetic and politically charged lyrics to illustrate the stark state of world affairs, driving toward spiritual awakening, all laid out and wrapped around a superb epic musical platform.

Rigel Records announces the release of "North Coast Noel", an eclectic mix of traditional and popular holiday and Christmas music from a variety of Cleveland area artists. All artists on this compilation donated their time and energy to this project, and the proceeds will go to The Salvation Army World Trade Center Disaster Relief Fund. This CD also contains the humorous parody "Enter Snowman", the story of Frosty The Snowman to the tune of Metallica's "Enter Sandman". The CD is available here and at CDBaby.com.
